About the Role

The Lead Electrical Engineer interprets detailed non‑standard customer requirements, translates them into established standards, and collaborates with field sales, customers, or consulting engineers to ensure accurate specification interpretation. Responsibilities include converting operating sequence descriptions into control and protection schematics, coordinating mechanical and electrical interfaces, completing all phases of custom order engineering, and consulting with plant and field sales engineers on new equipment applications. Additional duties involve leading special development projects, preparing and presenting training materials, supporting lean manufacturing initiatives, interfacing with design engineering and quality/warranty departments, troubleshooting electrical testing issues, and achieving Six Sigma, ELS, or other certifications to drive continuous improvement. What You Bring

Qualifications required are a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least three years of electrical engineering experience, one year of PLC programming, and one year of leadership experience managing people or project teams. Candidates must understand electrical fundamentals, design standards for power distribution and control systems, be proficient in PLC programming/troubleshooting, HMI interfaces, and computer tools such as Bid Manager, Plant Order Manager, Auto‑CAD, Microsoft Office, and AS‑400 systems. • Achieve Six Sigma, ELS, or related certifications to support continuous improvement. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 3 years of electrical engineering experience. • Possess minimum 1 year of PLC programming and leadership experience. • Proficient in PLC programming/troubleshooting, HMI interfaces, Auto‑CAD, Bid Manager, Plant Order Manager, and Microsoft Office.
