About the Role
The Marketing Specialist will lead the development and execution of proposals, qualifications, SF330s, and presentations for both standard and high‑priority pursuits. They will partner with technical teams to ensure proposal content is accurate and compelling, and they will create and continuously improve marketing collateral such as resumes, project sheets, case studies, and award submissions. Additional duties include writing and editing project narratives, staff bios, and cover letters, maintaining brand consistency, and providing strategic marketing guidance to project teams. The role also drives process improvements to boost proposal quality and win rates, conducts market intelligence and competitive analysis, and manages opportunity tracking in CRM/Unanet. • Lead development and execution of proposals, qualifications, SF330s, and presentations. • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate and persuasive proposal content. • Create and continuously improve marketing collateral, including resumes, case studies, and award submissions. • Write and edit project narratives, staff bios, and cover letters tailored to client requirements. • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials. • Provide strategic marketing expertise and guidance to project teams. • Drive process improvements to enhance proposal quality, efficiency, and win rates. • Conduct market intelligence research and competitive analysis for go/no‑go decisions. • Manage opportunity tracking in CRM/Unanet and maintain marketing databases. • Maintain a portfolio of successful proposals or marketing campaigns. • Provide bonuses for referrals, professional licenses, and overtime compensation. • Support professional growth with education reimbursement, in‑house learning, mentorship, and wellness programs.

Candidates must hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. They should bring at least four years of progressive marketing experience within the A/E/C or professional services sector, with strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and the Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication abilities are required to translate complex technical concepts into client‑focused narratives, along with demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with CRM/database platforms, a professional portfolio of successful proposals, and involvement in industry organizations are also essential. • Hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. • Possess 4+ years of progressive marketing experience in A/E/C or professional services. • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite. • Demonstrate exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills. • Experience with CRM/database platforms such as Unanet. • Active involvement in industry organizations (e.g., SMPS, AIA, ACEC).
