About the Role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a dynamic team to perform standard estimating activities, re‑measure contractor work, and manage the commercial aspects of assigned projects and programs. You will be responsible for handling cost reports, variations, claims, and maintaining payment and variation logs while coordinating with clients and the supervision team. Core duties include reviewing BOQ recapitulations, monthly financial reports, interim and final measurements, and payment certificates, as well as preparing and reviewing tender documents, variation orders, and change orders. You will also support cost planning, cost control, and the evaluation of claims, and draft contractual letters as needed. • Perform estimating and re‑measurement of contractor work on assigned projects. • Manage contractual and commercial correspondence, cost reports, variations, and claims. • Maintain payment, variation, and claims logs and coordinate with clients and supervision teams. • Review BOQ recapitulations, monthly financial reports, interim and final measurements, and payment certificates. • Prepare and review tender documents, variation orders, and change orders for approval. • Support cost planning, cost control functions, and assist in claim evaluation. • Draft and review contractual letters and related documentation.

What You Bring
The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field, MRICS membership, and at least 15 years of prime contract administration experience on major roads and large infrastructure projects. Candidates must be conversant with CESMM, FIDIC and related standards, proficient with contract‑administration software, and demonstrate strong English communication and interpersonal skills. • Hold MRICS membership and 15+ years experience in prime contract administration of major roads/infrastructure. • Possess knowledge of CESMM, FIDIC standards and proficiency with contract‑administration software. • Demonstrate strong written and oral English communication and interpersonal skills. • Preferred: UAE client approvals, consultancy experience, relevant professional membership, and work experience in Dubai.
