About the Role

In this role you will oversee the operation of a concrete batch plant and operate a front‑end loader. You will regularly interact with customers, taking orders and scheduling deliveries while working in a high‑performing team that collaborates with other local plants to achieve positive outcomes for Heidelberg Materials Australia and our clients. Batch & Drive – We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, customer‑focused go‑getter to join the Heidelberg Materials Australia team at our Warrnambool Concrete Plant, located three hours west of Melbourne. The Concrete Batcher/Agitator Driver role offers strong career development potential, giving you the chance to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, batching, scheduling and logistics within the construction industry. In addition to batching, you will also have the opportunity to drive deliveries of our product to customers, and for the right candidate we can support obtaining a valid Heavy Rigid licence if you do not already have one. The position is ideal for an effective communicator with a team mentality who can work unsupervised and is willing to adopt a flexible roster that includes Saturday work and overtime. Holders of a Heavy Rigid licence are preferred, and candidates seeking a Construction or White Card are encouraged to apply. You must support our Zero Harm safety policy and be physically capable of performing all job‑related tasks.
