Supervises regional maintenance agents delivering fuel operations and asset management for Defence Fuels Network.

About the Role
The role involves managing a regional team of Maintenance Agents to ensure safe and efficient delivery of fuel operations, including fuel quality, tanker and equipment services. The supervisor will lead, motivate and support the team to meet high standards of quality, cost, safety and performance while increasing the operational resilience of the network. Key duties include overseeing security implementation, monitoring supply chain performance across regional sites, handling Right of Entry requests and enterprise agreement activities, and maintaining clear communication with client stakeholders. The supervisor is also responsible for improving regional DFI performance and optimizing total cost of ownership. • Lead and motivate regional Maintenance Agents to deliver safe, efficient fuel operations. • Increase operational resilience of the Defence Fuels Network to meet defence supply demands. • Support and participate in industrial relations matters, including Right of Entry requests and enterprise agreement negotiations. • Monitor and maintain security across all Defence Fuel Infrastructure sites. • Oversee supply chain performance and report on contractor activities at regional locations. • Ensure effective communication with site stakeholders and keep Maintenance Agents informed of relevant issues. • Improve regional DFI performance and optimise total cost of ownership. • Participate in the Wellness Program with AIA Vitality.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold relevant tertiary engineering or trade qualifications, possess an NV‑1 security clearance (or be able to obtain one), and bring at least 10 years of oil and gas or petrochemical experience with supervisory responsibilities. Experience in strategic maintenance planning and optimisation of maintenance management systems is essential. • Hold relevant tertiary engineering or trade qualifications (e.g., engineering, asset management, mechanical, electrical). • Obtain or already hold an NV‑1 security clearance. • Bring 10+ years of oil and gas/petrochemical experience with supervisory responsibilities. • Demonstrated experience in strategic maintenance planning and optimisation of maintenance management systems.
