About the Role
You will work cross‑functionally with internal teams such as Application Engineering, Engineering, Estimating, Project Management, Product Management and Marketing to ensure commercial strategies align with execution capabilities. A passion for customer success, strategic selling and continuous improvement is essential for growth in this position. Collaboration across these functions enables the delivery of integrated solutions that meet market demands. Lead and manage the U.S. sales process to achieve revenue and margin targets in the commercial and industrial bus‑duct market. Cultivate and expand relationships with key industrial, EPC and commercial energy customers while partnering with independent manufacturer rep agencies to align performance with company objectives. Support technical solution development and proposal strategies alongside Application Engineers and Estimating to meet customer requirements. Drive pipeline development by actively prospecting, qualifying new opportunities and growing wallet share with existing accounts. Develop and deliver compelling customer‑facing presentations and proposals that articulate nVent’s value proposition and technical advantages. Maintain market awareness and competitive intelligence to inform planning decisions, and provide accurate forecasting and CRM rigor for strategic business reviews. Foster internal collaboration to support continuous improvement across engineering, project management and site services delivery. Together with the marketing team, design and implement a comprehensive strategy to engage the Industrial MV Bus Duct market. • Lead U.S. sales of Engineered Building Systems (EBS) bus duct solutions for commercial & industrial markets. • Achieve revenue and margin targets by cultivating relationships with industrial, EPC, and commercial energy customers. • Partner with and manage independent manufacturer rep agencies to align performance with company goals. • Collaborate with Application Engineering, Estimating and Project Management to develop technical solutions and proposals. • Build and qualify a sales pipeline, prospect new opportunities, and expand wallet share with existing accounts. • Deliver customer‑focused presentations that communicate nVent’s value proposition and technical advantages. • Provide accurate forecasts, maintain CRM data rigor, and contribute to strategic business reviews. • Develop and execute a market strategy for the Industrial MV Bus Duct segment alongside marketing.

What You Bring
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field is preferred, with at least five years of technical/commercial outside sales experience in the electrical infrastructure industry, including LV/MV equipment, MCCs, bus systems, modular buildings or integrated solutions. Proven experience working with industrial power generation, pump manufacturers, EPCs and renewable energy developers is required. Strong consultative sales acumen, the ability to manage long sales cycles with multiple partners, and demonstrated leadership of rep‑agency performance are essential. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills, proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM, remote‑work capability, up to 50 % travel and a valid driver’s license complete the profile. • Minimum 5 years technical/commercial outside sales experience in electrical infrastructure (LV/MV equipment, bus systems, modular buildings). • Proven consultative selling ability, experience with power generation, EPCs, renewable developers, and managing long sales cycles. • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills; proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM. • Willing to work remotely, travel up to 50%, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Compensation is transparent, with a total target cash range of $80,400‑$176,300 depending on geographic region, consisting of base salary plus a sales‑incentive component tied to annual goals.
