About the Role

• Manage contract and procurement lifecycle, including development, execution, variations, and procurement strategies aligned with statements of work. • Create commercial artefacts and documentation such as request/approval packs, tender evaluation plans, negotiation directives, and sustainment support documents. • Oversee service request and change proposal processes, handling survey and quote submissions and contract change proposals. • Provide commercial advice, identify and mitigate risks, and conduct supplier performance and compliance reviews. • Coordinate with procurement, legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure integrated delivery of commercial services. • Work on critical Defence projects that protect Australia’s future.

What You Bring

The role requires you to hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance, with potential ITAR compliance requirements depending on the project. Beyond technical skills, we value a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes for our clients. • Proven end‑to‑end procurement and contract management experience, including ASDEFCON‑based strategies and contract variations. • Expertise in preparing commercial artefacts, request/approval documents, negotiation directives, and liability risk assessments. • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional collaboration with legal, finance, engineering, and project teams. • Ability to interpret CASG policies, manage commercial risks, and ensure compliance with Defence procurement frameworks and ANAO recommendations. • Experience overseeing supplier performance, AIC and WHS compliance, and supporting audit readiness.
