About the Role

As a Plant Maintenance Technician you will keep the plant operating at peak performance, maintaining equipment such as balers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors and bearings. You will respond quickly to system failures, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to ensure safe and efficient operations under the guidance of the Plant Maintenance Manager. • Conduct preventive maintenance and repair of equipment such as balers, conveyors, hydraulic packs, motors, pumps, forklifts, and building systems • Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain backlog • Adjust work to meet production schedules and report unmet tasks to Sr. Plant Maintenance Manager • Inspect third‑party repairs and recommend improvements • Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs with limited supervision • Maintain a clean, safe work area complying with OSHA and WM safety rules • Push, pull, bend, lift objects >50 lb • Follow Waste Management Safety, Life Critical Rules, and OSHA standards
