About the Role
Safely operates cranes in support of construction operations. The operator is responsible for preventative maintenance and conducts a pre‑shift walk‑around of the assigned equipment to assure safe operation. • Maintain positive working relationships with crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively. • Ensure necessary materials, tools, equipment, and information are available. • Identify improvement opportunities and learn from others. • Inspect subordinates’ work for accuracy, compliance, and correct deficiencies. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transport, storage, and time. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb occasionally. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Move in and around confined, cluttered, uneven areas while complying with safety standards.

What You Bring
• Perform high‑proficiency preventative maintenance on equipment. • 3‑6+ years experience in industrial/commercial construction, with level‑specific experience. • Ability to read drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards, and use trade tools. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Current NCCCO or NCCER crane operator certification with appropriate endorsements. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts performing hard physical work in varied temperatures and outdoor conditions. • Frequently reach above shoulder height and below waist; occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend. • Wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.).
