About the Role
As an OnTheMarket Business Development Consultant (BDC) you will manage, nurture and grow an existing client base while prospecting new opportunities. You will work within a collaborative, entrepreneurial sales team that sells, trains and retains clients across the full OTM product suite, aiming to make OTM the leading residential portal in the UK. The role involves meeting clients in person, negotiating terms, managing risk and representing OTM at industry events. • Generate new business by sourcing and building relationships for OnTheMarket. • Master the OTM product suite and align solutions with customer needs. • Identify and contact prospective clients, converting leads into accounts. • Meet existing and new clients in person to nurture relationships. • Negotiate contract terms and manage associated risks. • Collaborate with senior team members to report results and mitigate issues. • Represent OTM at industry events and network with property professionals.

What You Bring
• Proven sales success, especially in online marketplaces or B2B environments. • Track record of maintaining and growing client relationships over medium‑to‑long term. • Excellent communication, presentation and objection‑handling abilities. • Strong organisational skills and data‑driven metric management. • Degree‑level education or equivalent experience. • Consultative selling style with account‑management techniques. • Ability to navigate large organisations and identify decision‑makers. • Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
