About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to design and develop artwork for printed circuit boards that meet customer-specific technical, cost, and market requirements. The incumbent often serves as the technical or project leader for small projects. • Apply engineering tools and creative thinking to PCB stack‑up design, BOM, and component placement. • Create layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics using ECAD software. • Plan, execute, and close assigned activities. • Collaborate with manufacturing, product teams, fab vendors, and suppliers to resolve DFM, DFT, and DFA issues. • Organize and lead small projects. • Ensure PCB design and review processes are understood and followed. • Prioritize tasks and act with speed and focus. • Identify required competencies and personnel for tasks. • Identify and drive continuous improvements in PCB design cycle time and quality. • Build stakeholder relationships to define quality levels per IPC standards and manage expectations. • Achieve results despite minor schematic or placement changes; communicate schedule impacts for major scope changes. • Create footprints and manage PCB libraries per IPC, UL, and MIL standards. • Apply PCB manufacturing, assembly, testing knowledge and validate Gerbers with CAM350. • Follow PCB design guidelines for EMI/EMC and support hardware testing. • Perform high‑speed board design, signal and power integrity analysis with Ansys or equivalent. • Apply automotive domain expertise for high‑power layout designs.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electronics and Communication, or Electrical Engineering, and 2–3 years of relevant work experience. • Commit to delivery dates and hold self and others accountable. • Use Altium (required) or Allegro, CADSTAR, PADs, or similar layout and capture tools. • Possess strong knowledge of surface‑mount and through‑hole components. • Understand CIS/CIP databases, thermal management, and enclosure design. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
