About the Role
The CNC Operator is responsible for running CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts while adhering to safety, ISO, quality, and housekeeping standards. Operators must possess technical knowledge in computers, machinery, and product creation. Key duties include calculating appropriate speeds and feeds, validating programs and work instructions, documenting work orders, and collaborating with team members in a fast-paced environment to meet shifting production targets. Operators also report issues to management and ensure compliance with safety policies. • Complete quality forms and daily inspection paperwork • Use hand tools such as air guns, wrenches, and drill press • Calculate speeds and feeds based on material • Validate machine programs and work instructions before machining • Document actions by completing work order routings • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet changing production demands • Report problems to appropriate management • Meet established production goals • Maintain safe operations by following safety policies and procedures • Operate FANUC and Mazak CNC machines • Operate one or more machines as required • Use machine controls (start, stop, emergency stop) • Apply strong math skills to input dimensions into CNC machinery • Analyze blueprints and documentation to ensure final product matches specifications • Utilize computer software to control CNC machinery • Perform preventative maintenance to keep machines functioning properly • Solve problems to detect and resolve issues in the creation process

What You Bring
Proficiency with FANUC and Mazak controlled CNC machines is essential, along with the ability to operate multiple machines, understand machine controls, and perform basic maintenance.
