About the Role
The Maintenance Technician assists with troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs across commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties. This role operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, grounds equipment, and HVAC • Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices • Install and modify building equipment and systems • Replace and repair finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, paint, piping, floors, and equipment • Evaluate maintenance operations and recommend upgrades or cost‑saving measures • Use and maintain tools and equipment for facility and ground upkeep • Respond immediately to emergencies and customer service requests • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety and preventative maintenance • Operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarms and pumps • Perform carpentry tasks and snow removal as needed • Follow all applicable codes, regulations, company directives, and practice safe work habits • Utilize technology (smartphones, tablets, computers, web apps, building automation systems) • Adhere to C&W uniform dress code and maintain a neat appearance

What You Bring
The position requires regular communication, computer operation, movement around the workplace, and occasional stationary tasks, with the ability to extend hands and arms in any direction. • Complete required C&W safety training annually • Demonstrate technical proficiency, initiative, flexibility, multi‑tasking, and sense of urgency • Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent • Possess 2+ years of commercial property maintenance experience • Have technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record • Possess basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word

Competitive pay ranges from $19.55 to $23.00 hourly, with compensation based on location, experience, and other factors.
