About the Role

Under general supervision, the technician performs preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnoses, and repairs on semi‑trailers. Work is guided by written instructions and established procedures, and includes tasks such as flooring, roofing, hinges, and brake repairs. Key duties include welding, repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems, as well as using vehicle computer electronics to identify failure modes. All work must be completed within Standard Repair Times, safety checks are performed on trailers, and paperwork is recorded in fleet maintenance software. • Perform preventive maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of semi‑trailers. • Conduct welding, brake, and safety checks while meeting Standard Repair Times. • Use vehicle computer electronics to interpret failures and document work in fleet maintenance software. • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and corporate safety standards. • Work in a repair/maintenance shop environment with exposure to physical risks, noise, odors, and weather extremes.

What You Bring

The position requires at least two years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and a minimum age of 18. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, able to meet the physical demands, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. The work environment is a repair/maintenance shop that may involve exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes. Employees must use motor coordination and finger dexterity for most of the day and handle objects under 30 lb. • Required: 2+ years relevant experience, valid driver’s license with clean record, age 18+, ability to lift <30 lb, pass drug screen and physical.
