About the Role
Estimators at Turner & Townsend support clients either as embedded resources within their organisation or on ad‑hoc projects across the Infrastructure sector through the Estimating Hub. The team delivers a wide range of estimating and commercial intelligence outputs to inform decision‑making, including estimate production, estimating assurance, support to major programme set‑up, and data analysis and benchmarking. • Estimate Production (from Order of Magnitude to detailed first‑principles estimates) • Estimating Assurance • Estimating Support to Major Programme set‑up • Data analysis and benchmarking • Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects efficiently • Control and manage the estimating process at project level • Generate estimates independently without supervision • Gather and share estimating data • Support and promote estimating best practice within the firm • Stay up‑to‑date with technical developments to provide best‑practice advice

What You Bring
Owing to continued demand and our ambitious plans for growth, Turner & Townsend are looking to recruit Estimators and Senior Estimators with proven experience across the Infrastructure sector (Rail, Highways, Power, Marine, Water or Utilities). Opportunities are available in the Midlands region, supporting major programmes from our Birmingham and Nottingham offices, with the flexibility to work remotely on national and international projects. • Qualified to high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with relevant experience • Proven experience delivering estimating or QS services on large projects • Experience using estimating software packages • Member of a relevant professional body (chartered status or working towards it) • Desirable membership of RICS, CIOB, or A.C.E.
