About the Role
• Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end‑to‑end service delivery on large or complex projects. • Provide support on major Project Management Commissions, handling specific aspects of service delivery. • Ensure client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within cost targets, and to quality standards. • Advise strategically at project inception, offering approaches to achieve client objectives. • Prepare and maintain definitions of project requirements. • Help establish overall success criteria, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters. • Establish effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the project. • Prepare and maintain schedules of activity, producing the master project plan. • Manage project development according to approved plans and targets. • Develop and implement resource plans and procure resources. • Lead and facilitate the cross‑functional project team. • Monitor performance using KPIs to improve project outcomes. • Manage the change control process. • Develop and agree budgets, controlling forecast and actual costs. • Manage flow of project information between team and client via meetings and written communications. • Identify and monitor project risks, planning and implementing mitigations. • Prepare formal project progress and other reports. • Interface with the client, other consultants, and manage stakeholders at all project stages. • Advise the client on health, safety and environmental issues and risks. • Plan for and manage ongoing quality, safety, health and environment concerns. • Provide staff management input for assistant project managers or small teams, including resource management and appraisal attendance. • Ensure key project information and learning are entered into the Turner & Townsend internal database. • Identify and act on opportunities to improve internal systems and processes.

What You Bring
Due to increased opportunities and demand in the Energy & Natural Resources division, the Energy & Natural Resources team are recruiting Project Managers to join a diverse and supportive team during a period of significant growth. Our nuclear client is at the forefront of industry‑leading change, and we are keen to speak to individuals with project management experience to see what Turner & Townsend can offer you. Candidates will be required to be present in our client offices in the North West for three days per week. Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value; depending upon the complexity of the project and the sector, where the service provided is advisory in nature, the scale and value of the project could be significant. Candidates should be comfortable delivering small to medium complexity projects independently with minimal oversight while having access to the wider expertise within the Turner & Townsend team. • Hold a degree in a relevant discipline. • Work towards a professional qualification such as MCIOB or APM. • Demonstrate proven experience managing HT&M projects, ideally in a consultancy environment. • Ability to successfully manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously. • Obtain BPSS level security clearance.
