About the Role

The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations by loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and material handling. The role ensures products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and handled safely, efficiently, and dependably. The role follows clearly prescribed processes and seeks supervisor guidance for non‑routine issues. Under close supervision, the associate exercises limited independent judgment, with detailed checks reviewed by senior staff. • Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard. • Prepare items for shipment or customer pickup by securely packaging materials using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods. • Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping. • Install protective devices such as bracing or padding to prevent damage during transport. • Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. • Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials. • Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed. • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.

What You Bring

Work is performed in a comfortable environment but includes exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes. The position requires lifting up to 50 lb, standing for extended periods, repetitive movements, and occasional overnight travel (less than 10 %). A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, with 0–2 years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include forklift operation, basic shipping and receiving knowledge, strong attention to detail, physical ability to lift heavy materials, and a team‑oriented, fast‑paced work style. • Understand basic shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. • Possess physical ability to lift and move heavy materials. • Work effectively in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
