About the Role
The field technician will support drilling operations by conducting penetrometer testing, locating borings, and ensuring accurate data collection. Responsibilities also include equipment maintenance, adherence to safety protocols, daily loading of rigs, and timely completion of paperwork while maintaining professional standards. • Perform standard penetrometer testing, including borings and geoprobes • Locate field borings • Record drilling data • Report project issues to manager or supervisor • Maintain drill rig and support truck; report repairs • Follow company safety procedures for a safe work environment • Load drill rig and support vehicle daily with supplies safely and accurately • Complete timesheets and field paperwork promptly and accurately • Care for and clean assigned vehicles, drilling equipment, and other equipment • Maintain professional behavior and quality standards • Work out of town and on non‑standard schedules as required

What You Bring
