About the Role
• Assist in assessing scope of work and required resources • Verify estimates based on detailed review of proposal specifications • Supervise project activities to ensure alignment with designs, budgets, and schedules, taking corrective action as needed • Resolve problems that arise during project execution • Monitor efficient use of materials and equipment and contractual performance, ensuring duties are performed per expectations • Coordinate onsite activities • Ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are met • Attend project meetings • Administer financial tracking systems to monitor project costs and estimates • Perform administrative and recordkeeping duties • Frequently work outdoors at construction sites and occasionally indoors • Frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, and crouch while navigating work areas under construction

What You Bring
• Minimum 5 years heavy civil construction experience (railroad construction a plus) • Basic knowledge of project accounting, controls, material management, contract management, subcontract management, safety, and quality • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and administrative skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite • Sit, read, write, and use a keyboard

Benefits
Employees are members of Local Union #3 – IBEW, and after a 90‑day introductory period they become eligible for a range of union benefits for themselves and immediate family members. Compensation for this role is $120,000 to $136,000 per year.
