About the Role

KBR seeks senior researchers to support DIA MSIC Programs, including TETRA’s mission in assessing and advancing Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of Artificial Intelligence-enabled Human Autonomous Teams (HATs) and Superteams, cognitive electronic warfare (CEW), and advanced modeling and simulation (M&S). The researchers will investigate, publish, teach, and lead technical engagements that shape test and evaluation of emergent Department of War AI-enabled systems. • Lead applied AI, cognition, human autonomous teaming, AI‑enabled EW, and mission‑relevant modeling & simulation research for OT&E stakeholders. • Publish peer‑reviewed papers, technical reports, white papers and present findings to DoW, intelligence, academic and industry audiences. • Design and deliver technical coursework, seminars and workshops. • Facilitate and participate in AI and Threat Working Groups, producing agendas, artifacts and decision briefings. • Engage DoW customers, leading cross‑functional tasking, risk management and delivering high‑quality deliverables.

What You Bring

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related field (or equivalent advanced degree/experience). • 10‑15+ years of DoW/Intelligence Community experience delivering research, analysis or OT&E artifacts. • Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred) and ability to maintain it. • Record of peer‑reviewed publications in AI, cognition, teaming, EW or M&S. • Proven teaching/training abilities and strong communication/briefing skills. • High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and stakeholder engagement with mixed technical/operational audiences. • Familiarity with cognitive EW, HATs, superteams, AI‑enabled threat modeling, and OT&E of AI‑enabled systems.

Benefits
