About the Role
The Program Assistant implements assigned activities and programs to meet residents' needs, interests, and capabilities in both independent and assisted living. The role reports to the Director of Programming and aims to engage residents in participation. • Plan and implement activities that meet resident needs and interests. • Create resident histories and profiles with input from residents and families. • Set up and clean up daily scheduled activities. • Develop and distribute a monthly social program calendar. • Keep residents engaged between scheduled social activities.

What You Bring
The role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of fine and gross motor skills, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lb using proper body mechanics. • 1–2 years experience leading activities for the elderly (preferred). • High school diploma or higher education (preferred). • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new computer applications.

Benefits
