About the Role

Recruiters will deliver a high level of customer service to internal and external customers to identify, select, and hire the best qualified candidates, ensuring compliance with project-specific labor needs and federal/state legal requirements. Key duties include sourcing and screening candidates, conducting preliminary interviews, coordinating site interviews, extending contingent offers, and managing employment requisitions through review, editing, and final approval. Recruiters also track and report staffing data using software tools, assist in building and managing staffing plans, update job descriptions, coordinate redeployment initiatives, and handle operational tasks such as background checks, drug and health screenings, and compliance with I‑9 and E‑Verify regulations. The role may involve physical tasks such as lifting and working in industrial locations, requiring the use of personal protective equipment and the ability to adapt to noisy, dusty, and variable weather conditions. Work is performed primarily in a fast‑paced office environment, with occasional assignments at industrial sites. • Source, screen, and conduct preliminary interviews with candidates. • Coordinate site interviews and extend contingent employment offers in compliance with federal and state laws. • Manage employment requisitions, including review, editing, and final approval. • Track and report staffing plan data using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other databases. • Build and maintain employment staffing plans and update job descriptions per project scope. • Lead redeployment initiatives with proactive employee communication. • Conduct background checks, drug and health screenings, and ensure I‑9, E‑Verify, and paperwork compliance. • Provide high‑level customer service and resolve conflicts effectively. • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for daily tasks.

Qualifications require a commitment to Zachry values, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service, conflict resolution, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to plan, decide, and manage priorities.
