About the Role

The Associate Photographer works for the Homes.com and Apartments.com marketplaces, capturing virtual tours, floor plans and high‑quality photographs of residential properties. Equipped with a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital camera gear and an iPad, photographers are assigned a core territory and schedule appointments to scan homes and apartments. The role collaborates closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and a local Photography Manager. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and floor plans using Matterport Pro3 cameras for Homes.com and Apartments.com. • Photograph residential properties for marketing, applying professional photography techniques. • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to prioritize tasks. • Conduct commercial real‑estate data coverage by navigating one‑mile grids, identifying new inventory and missing properties. • Follow CoStar safety standards for vehicle and equipment use and represent the company professionally. • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

What You Bring

Physical duties include frequent sitting in a vehicle, standing and walking up to eight hours per day, and lifting equipment weighing up to five pounds. Repetitive hand and arm movements are required to operate camera equipment and type on a tablet or laptop, and occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting and lifting are necessary. Photographers must be able to work outdoors in all seasons and on a rotating weekend schedule. • Minimum 2 years of professional experience, including real‑estate photography. • Professional photographer background or recent photography degree; FAA Part 107 drone license (or obtain within 30 days). • Strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and accurate data capture skills. • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational abilities. • Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office and internet applications. • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment; field experience preferred. • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to lift/carry equipment up to 5 lb and work up to 8 hours daily, including rotating weekends.

Compensation is an hourly wage equivalent to $54‑55 k per year, supplemented by monthly performance‑based bonuses.
