About the Role
The Human Resources Representative, Associate will join the New Jersey VIC (NJVIC) program, supporting HR operations across 26 locations while based in Hamilton, New Jersey with a hybrid/remote schedule. This fast‑paced role assists the HR department in fulfilling strategic staffing priorities. Key duties include facilitating communication among HR representatives, managers, and candidates to streamline hiring, maintaining a steady flow of candidates, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The associate will also help coordinate new‑employee orientation, develop an understanding of NJVIC union culture, generate internal reports, and keep staffing records up to date while collaborating with HR, managers, and candidates. • Streamline the hiring process by facilitating communication among HR, managers, and candidates. • Maintain a steady pipeline of candidates to meet staffing needs across 26 locations. • Support and coordinate new‑employee orientation and onboarding activities. • Generate internal HR reports and maintain accurate staffing records. • Collaborate with HR, managers, and candidates to deliver seamless HR support. • Build productive partnerships with employees and managers at all organizational levels.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in administration or a related field and have 1–2 years of HR experience, particularly in recruitment and talent management. Required attributes include strong written and verbal communication, confidentiality, adaptability to a visible union environment, partnership building, critical thinking, business acumen, and proficiency with Microsoft 365. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Administration or a related field. • Possess 1–2 years of HR recruitment experience and knowledge of talent management principles. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, confidentiality, and adaptability in a union environment. • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); Workday experience preferred. • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus.
