The Road Mechanic role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a diverse fleet that includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas equipment, all to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation. • Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management • Provide your own mechanic tools of trade if needed • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to minimize equipment downtime • Adhere to safety protocols while working indoors and outdoors

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, with trade school training preferred, and possess 3–5 years of experience servicing diesel, heavy construction, or specialty line equipment. A valid driver’s license is required, and a CDL may be necessary in certain locations. Key skills include knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, the ability to troubleshoot effectively, flexibility to adapt to fast‑paced changes, and the readiness to provide personal mechanic tools; bilingual ability (Spanish or other) may be required depending on site needs. The position demands physical effort such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 lb or more, both indoors and outdoors, with reasonable accommodations provided to comply with applicable laws. • High school diploma or GED required; trade school training preferred • 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location • Physically lift 50 lb or more, bend, squat, crouch, and reach as required
