About the Role

Ameresco Canada is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to join its Operations team during the design, implementation, and commissioning phases of major construction projects. The role involves planning, scheduling, monitoring daily construction activities, and serving as the primary liaison among clients, engineers, and subcontractors. The coordinator will also manage site documentation, attend weekly construction meetings, and support project managers through planning, commissioning, and close‑out activities. • Plan, schedule, and monitor daily construction activities. • Act as primary contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors. • Coordinate communication and manage the construction phase with customers and subcontractors. • Prepare and maintain site documents such as drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and progress reports. • Provide regular status updates and address delays or issues. • Attend and contribute to weekly construction meetings. • Support engineers, project managers, and construction managers with management and commissioning tasks. • Develop and update project plans. • Handle project close‑out requirements. • Manage electronic documents on corporate servers and FTP sites.

What You Bring

• Hold post‑secondary education in engineering, technology, or related fields. • Possess experience in planning, scheduling, project coordination, or document coordination for construction projects. • Demonstrate strong ability to organize and maintain large volumes of documents. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. • Familiarity with project management software such as Procore or Autodesk is preferred.
