About the Role

The Maintenance Technician at The Joliet at Lowry supports resident satisfaction through quality move‑ins, timely service, and personal attention. This role is responsible for preparing apartments, responding to resident requests, and maintaining common‑area amenities while upholding Cushman & Wakefield standards. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (painting, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping) • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities in clean, safe condition • Participate in on‑call schedule for after‑hours emergencies • Report maintenance concerns in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the supervisor • Follow state, local, and federal fair‑housing laws and all safety procedures • Attend required training programs and adhere to Cushman & Wakefield uniform standards • Compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret basic charts; write routine reports

What You Bring

The position requires knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal, and may involve on‑call emergency response and reporting issues to the Maintenance Supervisor. Safety procedures, fair‑housing compliance, and punctual attendance are essential. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent), and possess a high school diploma or vocational training. At least one year of related experience is preferred. Work is performed in a professional office environment with regular travel between properties and exposure to varying weather conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 100 lb regularly. • Possess a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent) • Read and understand policy manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions • Lift, carry, push, pull up to 100 lb regularly and climb ladders or stairs as needed
