About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager will be accountable for annual Ductless product sales and growth targets across assigned distributors in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, or Tennessee. The role develops and executes growth strategies that expand the distributor’s customer base through dealer conversion, increasing market share. Candidates must reside in one of the specified states and have convenient access to a major airport for regional travel. • Manage multiple Carrier Enterprise regions to achieve annual Ductless product sales targets. • Compile and report competitive product and pricing data relative to job quotes and market pricing. • Train the sales channel on Ductless products and associated marketing programs. • Identify product gaps, develop mitigation solutions, and collaborate with Product Management to prioritize fixes. • Assist sales, service, and contractor teams to resolve issues quickly. • Analyze marketing and sales statistics and field conditions to uncover growth opportunities and devise strategies. • Build consultative relationships with distributors and dealers as a subject‑matter expert. • Drive product growth through distributor and dealer engagement and data‑driven decision making. • Deliver product training and support marketing programs for distributor and dealer networks.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of experience with HVAC ductless systems, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 70 % of the time. Preferred credentials feature a bachelor’s degree, deep knowledge of ductless product applications and market dynamics, and proven ability to sell through wholesale distribution channels. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, exceptional organization, and a track record of driving product growth and delivering training. • Maintain familiarity with regional energy rebates and tax incentives. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of HVAC ductless systems experience. • Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 70 % of the time. • Prefer a bachelor’s degree and strong knowledge of ductless product applications and market dynamics. • Demonstrate direct experience selling ductless HVAC solutions through wholesale distribution channels. • Show capability to support or manage sales channels across multiple geographic regions. • Communicate professionally in written and verbal formats across a wide audience. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $168,000, adjusted for skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
