About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports an affordable‑housing community, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, and is responsible for corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance as well as the make‑ready process. • Respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic repairs, including swimming‑pool maintenance and chemical logging. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds, structures and amenities to identify and correct hazards. • Assist with unit turn‑around (make‑ready) tasks and coordinate scheduling of maintenance/repair events. • Maintain an organized, stocked maintenance shop while complying with OSHA and Asset Living safety policies. • Keep accurate records of service requests, preventative‑maintenance activities, inventory, and EPA/OSHA compliance. • Provide excellent customer service, ensure consistent resident communication, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency rotations and support after‑hours property needs.

What You Bring

• Meet the physical demands of lifting, climbing, working in confined spaces and outdoor conditions; ability to work overtime, weekends and nights. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Have reliable transportation for emergency on‑call responsibilities.
