About the Role

In this role, the VP will shape Matterport’s marketing vision, align it with corporate objectives, and position the brand as a market leader. They will collaborate with product, sales, and research to create go‑to‑market plans, oversee multi‑channel campaigns, manage product launches, and use data‑driven insights to continuously improve performance. Additionally, they will build brand awareness, champion thought leadership, and develop a diverse, innovative marketing organization that works closely with CoStar’s centralized Marketing Services. • Define Matterport’s marketing vision and align it with CoStar Group’s corporate objectives • Partner with Product, Sales, and Research to develop go‑to‑market plans and compelling value propositions • Oversee multi‑channel marketing campaigns that drive acquisition, retention, and brand leadership • Direct product launch planning and execution with consistent, differentiated messaging • Provide market, competitive, and customer insights to guide positioning and strategy • Establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure impact on sales, revenue, and client engagement • Leverage data‑driven insights to continuously optimize spend, ROI, and campaign performance • Integrate customer feedback and market intelligence into product marketing and sales enablement • Build brand awareness, perception, and preference across the commercial real‑estate sector • Champion thought‑leadership initiatives through high‑visibility events, partnerships, and content programs • Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, high‑performing marketing team • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the marketing organization • Collaborate with CoStar’s centralized Marketing Services and Operations to ensure best‑in‑class execution

The Vice President of Marketing for Matterport will define and execute the B2B marketing strategy and lead a global team that positions Matterport as the essential digital‑twin and spatial‑intelligence provider for commercial real estate worldwide. This senior leadership role, based in Arlington, VA, requires deep B2B marketing expertise, strong commercial‑real‑estate or technology experience, and the ability to build and inspire high‑performing teams. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and brings at least 15 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or technology sectors, with a proven record of leading global strategies for high‑growth products. They possess deep knowledge of go‑to‑market planning, digital marketing, demand generation, and product positioning, combined with strong business acumen, executive communication skills, and experience managing teams in a $1B+ matrixed environment. An MBA or advanced degree and a passion for AI, data, and digital experience platforms are preferred. • 15+ years progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or technology industries • Proven success leading global marketing strategies for innovative, high‑growth products • Deep knowledge of go‑to‑market planning, digital marketing, demand generation, and product positioning • Strong business acumen with a track record of delivering measurable business impact • Superior communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills, including executive influence • Experience building and leading marketing teams in a complex, matrixed $1B+ organization • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred) • Passion for technology and innovation, especially AI, data, and digital experience platforms (preferred)
