Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property managers work independently across multiple sites, spending time both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units to verify inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and contacting customers for payment reminders and collections. • Conduct customer storage assessments and sell moving supplies • Perform daily unit inspections to ensure availability • Audit cash drawers and complete bank deposits • Make payment reminder and collection calls • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and walk/stand outdoors up to 50 % of shift • Perform cleaning, sweeping, mopping and maintain exterior grounds

What You Bring

Physical requirements include the ability to lift or move items up to 35 lb and to walk around facilities, spending up to 50 % of the shift outdoors, climbing stairs, and opening large doors. Managers also perform cleaning and routine maintenance such as sweeping, mopping interior areas and keeping exterior grounds clear of debris. Candidates should have experience in customer‑service‑oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast‑food, or other service‑based roles.
