About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering courteous, complete waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle complies with company safety standards and all applicable regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports. Key duties include conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following route sheets to service customers and transport waste to disposal sites, operating truck controls to lift, load, compact, and unload refuse, and maintaining professional interactions with customers and dispatchers. The role also requires monitoring waste for compliance, tagging unsatisfactory containers, cleaning accidental spills per safety protocols, keeping the vehicle in operational readiness by cleaning equipment after each trip, and accurately completing route, productivity, and condition reports. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections daily • Safely operate the collection truck along assigned routes and to disposal sites • Load, compact, and unload waste according to company procedures • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste compliance • Clean accidental spills while following safety standards • Monitor vehicle condition, clean packer blade and truck body each trip • Complete route sheets, productivity logs, and vehicle condition reports • Meet productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies and ReSOP program

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications include two years of commercial truck driving experience, and the minimum requirement is a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement; the position offers a union hourly pay range of $35.93. • Demonstrate strong customer service, time management, and follow‑through skills
