About the Role

The role includes overseeing organization, planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality. It also involves compliance with ethics, safety, permits, and stormwater regulations, as well as managing billing, work‑in‑place estimates, and subcontractor relations. • Primary liaison with owners/architects/engineers for day‑to‑day construction activities. • Participate in project pursuits, proposals and presentations; contribute to project win during competition phase. • Lead, supervise and develop Superintendents and other staff, including performance appraisals. • Develop and implement overall project set‑up and site logistics plan and identify project‑specific scope of work. • Develop and implement overall project work schedules, identify critical path, and expedite critical materials and equipment. • Review and respond to subcontractor schedule impacts or productivity claims. • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements. • Develop and manage the overall site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and safety codes. • Manage decisions related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and trade staffing levels. • Document project field issues that impact budget, quality or schedule. • Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues impacting budget, quality or schedule. • Oversee work among all trades to promote coordinated project operation and resolve local area problems. • Manage labor relations with subcontractors and Turner trade staff. • Implement mock‑ups, testing, review and approval. • Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are current; act as liaison to inspection agencies. • Perform as Stormwater Compliance Coordinator (SCC) per Turner’s Stormwater Compliance Program. • Manage General Conditions (GCs) and General Requirements (GRs) to maintain budget. • Manage billing process for Work‑In‑Place, oversee monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications. • Ensure work is installed in compliance with approved contract documents.

What You Bring

This position is for Turner Construction (Division SPO) located in Lebanon, IN. It is a salaried exempt role, classified as experienced, requiring 90-100% travel. The senior field construction supervisor reports to the Project Manager or Project Executive and oversees a large or complex project or multiple projects. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 15 years of building construction experience, with strong knowledge of building systems, codes, cost control, BIM, Lean, and scheduling software. Required skills include leadership, communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to implement advanced technologies. The job demands physical ability to climb, lift up to 50 lb, and work in typical construction site conditions, including exposure to noise, weather, and hazards.
