About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide management of the engineering function, ensuring alignment with station needs and regulatory requirements while delivering high‑quality engineering results. • Manage engineering function to meet station needs and regulatory requirements. • Oversee performance and development of engineering staff to achieve high‑quality results. • Lead short‑term and long‑term engineering programs impacting site operations. • Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews for assigned staff. • Serve as senior resource for NGG‑wide initiatives to standardize and improve engineering systems. • Participate in emergency response, department coverage, call‑outs, and outage support as needed. • Ensure compliance with ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standards for nuclear power plant personnel. • Maintain required access qualifications and favorable medical status per position duties.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering (or related science) or a Professional Engineer license, with at least five years of engineering experience, including one year in a nuclear power plant. Preferred qualifications include Professional Engineer registration, an advanced technical degree or MBA, and prior supervisory or managerial experience. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science, or a Professional Engineer license, with at least five years of engineering experience including one year in nuclear power. • Preferred: Professional Engineer registration, MBA or advanced technical degree, and supervisory or managerial experience.
