About the Role
The Leasing Manager oversees all aspects of leasing and marketing at a property, working closely with the Community Manager to set leasing goals and develop strategic plans that achieve budgeted occupancy. This role leads the leasing team, ensures effective resident relations, and drives successful leasing, marketing, and retention initiatives. • Oversee leasing and marketing, set leasing goals with Community Manager. • Lead leasing team to achieve budgeted occupancy and maintain resident satisfaction. • Ensure accurate lease documentation, conduct audits, and uphold policy compliance. • Develop and implement resident retention programs and address resident complaints. • Assist in creating annual marketing plan and budget; execute campaigns to drive traffic. • Supervise leasing and renewal events; monitor market conditions with weekly reports. • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate on‑site staff, ensuring adherence to company standards. • Manage customer service, maintenance request responsiveness, and property appearance. • Optimize resource use, obtain vendor bids, and oversee operational business functions.

What You Bring
Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred or at least one year of experience in the housing industry. Candidates must be able to perform on‑site software functions, possess basic computer skills, and have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical demands involve prolonged standing or sitting, frequent climbing of ladders or stairs, and the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lb. Employees must be able to work in various environments, including tight spaces, outdoor conditions, and may need to work overtime, weekends, or night hours for emergencies. • Minimum high school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred; housing industry experience. • Proficient with on‑site software, basic computer skills; understand Fair Housing and OSHA. • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, use ladders, and work in varied environments.
