About the Role
• Develops and implements clear and detailed delivery plans for complex / matrixed engagements. • Acts as mentor and coach to develop internal talent • Acts as mentor and coach to develop internal talent. • Leads a team/ manages staff. • Measures targets in terms of participation and energy efficiency savings, tracks KPI’s and ensures program goals are met. • Attend and present at tradeshows and events as necessary, to promote and educate businesses on the benefits of the Program. • May be responsible for managing scope, utilization, revenue, and budget within a project. • Resolve problems by quick and adept thinking and implementing steps that address a recurrence in the future. • Identifies and converts high potential leads within a designated territory or market segment. • Acts as key client contact for major contract / initiative with increased relationship responsibility with client, including multiple levels of contacts within the client environment. • Takes an integral role in project development and execution. • Prepares and updates materials for trade shows and events.

What You Bring
• Capable of managing mid to large scale or complex projects or multiple projects within scope of program or portfolio. • Experience evaluating the effectiveness of outreach efforts and suggesting alternatives. • Capable of strategically managing a client or clients to assist in the expansion of the relationship in support of business growth. • Experience with commercial or industrial site energy efficiency evaluations or audits a plus. • Understanding of target audience and how to effectively engage multiple levels of decision making within a company, municipality, or other local government or state agency. • Sales or business development experience, preferably within the energy sector, or the design or construction industries. • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communications skills. • Energy efficiency-related certifications are a plus, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or LEED AP (Accredited Professional). • Team-oriented, hands-on, highly skilled, adaptive, and client-focused. • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience • Capable of managing multiple delivery workstreams and/or teams to execute work within complex projects. • Experience working with state agencies, public authorities or utilities preferred. • Travel expectations within assigned territory.
