About the Role
Key responsibilities include researching environmental, social, and sustainability regulations within the UAE and across the GCC, and supporting the assessment and application of relevant policies for ERM’s clients. The consultant will maintain awareness of evolving regulatory frameworks, review client‑provided EHS and social data sets to identify trends, and contribute to high‑quality deliverables while working closely with multidisciplinary teams on ESG‑related projects. • Conduct research on UAE and GCC environmental, social, and sustainability regulations. • Support assessment and implementation of sustainability policies for client projects. • Review and analyze client‑provided EHS and social data to identify trends. • Prepare high‑quality deliverables and collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants. • Work alongside global ESG experts and contribute to shaping regional sustainability strategies.

What You Bring
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Sustainability Consultant to join ERM’s growing team in the UAE. This entry‑level position is ideal for a fresh graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental policy in the GCC region. The role offers exposure to a wide range of sectors, including renewable energy, finance, industrial, and technology, providing an excellent foundation for a long‑term consulting career. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Economics, or a related field with an environmental focus. Strong research and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to interpret regulatory and technical information. Fluency in English and Arabic, comfort working with data, clear presentation abilities, and a motivated, collaborative mindset are essential. • Hold a degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, economics or a related field. • Demonstrate strong research, analytical, and regulatory interpretation skills. • Communicate effectively in English and Arabic; present data clearly. • Show motivation, teamwork and eagerness to learn in a global consulting environment.
