About the Role
The role provides administrative and financial services to a profit center and reports to the Senior Accountant, Finance Reporting HQ or the Financial Manager, Finance Reporting HQ. • Assist accountant to ensure client contractual requirements are met in regard to billing and accounts receivable. • Support the accountant to audit client billing and project ledger in compliance with contract requirements, GAAP, and company policy. • Process accounts payable for vendor invoices and keep accounts up to date for assigned projects. • Process accounts payable for subcontractor invoices and ensure lien waivers, contracts, and insurance requirements are in place. • Assist with the monthly close process, ensuring client bills and project costs are posted or accrued as needed. • Provide monthly updates on project assets and rentals for insurance documentation with the project team. • Assist with project financial closeout, ensuring final contract amounts and documentation meet subcontractor agreements. • Assist with all internal and external audit requests.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, possess general knowledge of basic accounting principles, and demonstrate accountability, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Strong work ethic, integrity, professional communication skills, and proficiency with data entry, databases, and MS Office are also required. The job entails physical demands such as climbing stairs and ladders, using construction hoists, and occasionally lifting heavy weights, while requiring visual acuity, manual dexterity, and the ability to navigate construction sites. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, weather conditions, and potential electrical hazards, with noise levels ranging from moderate to very loud.
