What You Bring
The Operational Management Trainee – Fleet position is part of a developmental training program that prepares individuals for a future Fleet Manager role. Trainees work under the direction of experienced Fleet Managers and will travel weekly for 10‑14 weeks across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, with the position ultimately based in Ohio. In this role, trainees will learn to lead, implement, and monitor maintenance processes that support operations and maximize fleet performance. They will also gain experience managing the full fleet of primary and secondary equipment within their assigned area. Candidates must hold an Associate’s Degree in a Diesel Technician Certification program or a similar field, or have equivalent experience, and possess a High School Diploma or GED with two years of relevant work experience. Additionally, 0‑6 months of prior work experience and a valid driver’s license are required, while preferred qualifications are not listed. The position primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring use of standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
