About the Role
• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline projects with high technical complexity, leading cross‑discipline teams. • Execute and deliver on multiple projects concurrently. • Establish client relations and support marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. • Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document sessions on‑site with project managers and technical professionals. • Coordinate staffing and workload throughout the project lifecycle to meet delivery schedules. • Collaborate with HDR leadership—including Business/Accounting Managers, Project Controllers, and Department Managers—for routine project reviews. • Implement QA/QC procedures. • Execute training for personnel according to strategic plans. • Supervise large project staffs and mentor less‑experienced Project Managers. • Obtain and maintain professional engineering registration.

What You Bring
• Master's degree (preferred). • Federal experience desired (preferred). • PMP certification (preferred). • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required). • 10 years related experience (required). • Minimum 5 years project management experience (required). • Professional engineering license recognized by the local licensing board (e.g., PE or P.Eng) (required). • Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project; Access experience a plus (required). • Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills (required). • Commitment to actively participate in HDR’s employee‑owned culture (required).
