About the Role
The role involves performing preventive maintenance inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding major components on vehicles and equipment. Candidates must be willing to commit to extended stays in any service area and possess the ability to travel as required. Key duties include maintaining a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards, conducting preventive maintenance inspections, and executing timely repairs of identified issues. The technician will diagnose and perform moderately complex repairs, guide other maintenance personnel, utilize vehicle computer systems to interpret failures, estimate time and material costs, requisition parts, and report any additional work or deviations from Standard Repair Times to a supervisor. Additional responsibilities involve inspecting the quality of supplier repairs, assessing structural damage, performing emergency service calls, conducting vehicle safety checks, and assuming supervisory duties in the absence of supervision. All maintenance work is performed in accordance with established safety procedures. • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and timely repairs on vehicles and equipment. • Diagnose and execute moderately complex repairs, using vehicle computer systems to identify failures. • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards. • Provide guidance and direction to other maintenance personnel. • Estimate repair time and material costs, and requisition necessary parts. • Notify supervisor of additional work needs or if repairs exceed Standard Repair Times. • Inspect and evaluate quality of supplier repairs and assess structural damage. • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and conduct vehicle safety checks. • Assume supervisory duties when supervision is absent. • Work in a repair/maintenance shop environment.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least four years of relevant experience, be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be legally eligible to work in the United States. They must also pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical, meet the physical demands of the role, and demonstrate skills in using tools, diagnosing equipment, and operating fleet maintenance software. • Meet qualifications: 4 years experience, 18+, valid driver’s license, pass drug screen/physical, and be able to perform physical job demands. • Utilize tools, diagnose equipment, and operate fleet maintenance software (knowledge of Total Tire Maintenance Program optional).
