About the Role
Based in Charlotte, NC, this role provides administrative and financial services to a profit center, reporting to the Senior Accountant or Financial Manager in Finance Reporting HQ. The incumbent will support billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly close processes, and audit activities for assigned projects. Responsibilities also include updating project asset and rental information for insurance documentation and assisting with financial closeout procedures. The position requires strong organization, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. • Assist accountant in meeting client contractual billing and accounts receivable requirements. • Support audit of client billing and project ledgers for compliance with contracts, GAAP, and company policy. • Process vendor invoices and maintain up‑to‑date accounts payable for assigned projects. • Process subcontractor invoices, ensuring lien waivers, contracts, and insurance are in place. • Help complete monthly close by posting or accruing client bills and project costs. • Provide monthly updates on project assets and rentals for insurance documentation. • Assist with project financial closeout, verifying final contract amounts and required documentation. • Respond to internal and external audit requests as needed. • Maintain high organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and self‑checking of work.
