About the Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Controller will prepare, maintain and summarise schedules of project activities, accounting for dependencies and financial milestones. They will ensure compliance with the planning cycle, producing credible plans that meet customer demand while considering inventory, logistics and storage. The controller will manage pre‑production data, rectify inaccuracies, and work with the supply chain to balance the order book and support business priorities. They will also conduct operational reviews, coordinate issue resolution and manage required documentation to mitigate risks. • Prepare and maintain project activity schedules, tracking dependencies and financial milestones. • Ensure planning cycle compliance to deliver credible supply plans covering inventory, logistics and storage. • Manage pre‑production data quality and correct inaccuracies for robust supply planning. • Collaborate with the supply chain team to balance the order book and meet customer priorities. • Conduct operational reviews to assess delivery capability and define risk‑mitigation actions. • Coordinate resolution of documentation issues, including route cards, supplier documents and export compliance. • Influence cross‑functional stakeholders to drive balanced business decisions.

What You Bring

Rolls-Royce is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Professional to join the UK Civil Nuclear Programme. The role is based at the Derby site and supports the development and supply of UDG installations for the Hinkley Point C Reactor programme in partnership with EDF and NNB. Some planned travel will be required to work with civil nuclear teams and supply chain partners. The successful candidate will hold a degree or a relevant professional qualification such as APICS, and must have proven experience in supply chain planning and control. Experience of load and capacity management, delivery oversight under challenging conditions, and familiarity with MRP or ERP systems is essential. The role requires strong influencing skills, the ability to take responsibility for personal development, and the capacity to make balanced business decisions. A Security Check clearance is required; Rolls‑Royce will support the application for those without one, and candidates must be UK nationals or MoD‑approved dual nationals. • Hold a degree or APICS‑equivalent qualification and extensive supply chain planning/control experience. • Demonstrated expertise in load/capacity management and MRP/ERP systems. • Ability to obtain Security Check clearance; UK nationality required.
