About the Role

The role involves overseeing multiple multidisciplinary projects, coordinating with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors, and ensuring that design packages meet scope, schedule, and resource requirements while adhering to WSP’s ethical standards and policies. • Lead multidisciplinary design teams to develop project scope, schedules, milestones, and resource plans for federal defense clients. • Coordinate daily activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to keep projects on schedule. • Monitor key performance indicators, identify risks or delays, and report status to senior management. • Support budget management by tracking expenses, reviewing cost estimates, and ensuring alignment with approved budgets. • Prepare and maintain project documentation such as progress reports, meeting minutes, risk assessments, change orders, and closeout reports. • Exercise ethical decision‑making and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies.

What You Bring

WSP is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Honolulu office to lead engineering and design projects for U.S. government and military clients, including the Department of Defense, US Army Corps of Engineers, Missile Defense Agency, and Navy Facilities Command. Ideal candidates have more than ten years of post‑education experience in architecture, engineering, or construction project management, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, PE or PMP certification, and a proven record managing federal design projects for agencies such as MDA, USACE, or NAVFAC. • Possess 10+ years of project management experience in architecture, engineering, or construction. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, PE or PMP certification, and 3‑5 years managing federal design projects for agencies like MDA, USACE, or NAVFAC. • Be a U.S. citizen and able to work on‑site in WSP’s Honolulu office. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering design/analysis software. • Exhibit strong organizational, time‑management, and safety compliance skills.
