About the Role

The role involves conducting field observations of existing facilities and providing a range of facilities‑related services such as roofing, waterproofing, fire‑proofing, exterior insulation finish systems, anchor testing, coring, scanning, material sampling, and leak or forensic investigations. The incumbent will also attend project meetings, assist in resolving technical and administrative issues, and support overall project outcomes. • Conduct field observations of existing facilities. • Perform roofing, waterproofing, fire‑proofing, EIFS, anchor testing, coring, scanning, material sampling, and leak or forensic investigations. • Attend project meetings and aid in project resolutions. • Resolve technical and administrative project issues. • Lift 40‑70 lb repeatedly (occasionally 85 lb) and provide transportation for job sites (mileage reimbursed).

What You Bring

Candidates should be actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or a related field, and demonstrate interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures. The position requires the ability to lift 40‑70 lb repeatedly (occasionally up to 85 lb) and have reliable transportation for site travel, with mileage reimbursed. Compensation ranges from $18‑$25 per hour, adjusted for location and qualifications. • Pursue an engineering, architecture, or building‑science degree (associate to master’s).
