About the Role
The Maintenance Technician assists in executing corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance processes for the property, supporting the make‑ready process in line with operational objectives under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend onsite daily and promptly respond to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including swimming pool upkeep and accurate chemical logging. • Assist with unit make‑ready processes, turn events, and inventory management of tools and supplies. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds and structures to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Maintain an organized, well‑stocked maintenance shop while adhering to OSHA and Asset Living safety policies. • Document service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventative maintenance, and make‑ready status accurately. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround times, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and support the Maintenance Supervisor with hazard communication programs.

What You Bring
Required education includes a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with basic computer skills and the ability to perform onsite software functions. Candidates must have a basic understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical demands include frequent climbing of ladders and stairs, lifting objects over 100 lb, working in confined spaces, handling hazardous chemicals, and being on‑call for emergencies during nights, weekends, or overtime. The role also requires prolonged standing or sitting and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
