About the Role

Senior project managers will work on a broad range of programmes in sectors such as aviation, roads, rail, telecommunications and utilities, applying project management principles, contract administration, financial control and health‑safety, quality and environmental management. • Lead delivery of complex infrastructure projects across sectors such as aviation, roads, rail, telecoms and utilities. • Administer NEC3/NEC4 engineering and construction contracts in a current or recent project manager role. • Build and develop high‑performing project teams, fostering collaboration in ambiguous or high‑pressure environments. • Manage stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor to clients and partner organisations. • Oversee financial management, project controls, health‑safety, quality and environmental compliance. • Analyse complex problems quickly and devise workable delivery solutions. • Coordinate multiple work streams and communicate effectively with senior client representatives. • Coordinate contractors, consultants and advisors on infrastructure programmes.

Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success, Turner & Townsend is seeking senior project managers accredited in NEC3 and NEC4 to lead high‑profile infrastructure projects. The role is based in London with a hybrid working pattern and involves collaboration with client teams across London and the South‑East. Candidates must have extensive experience managing the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts, demonstrating strong leadership, stakeholder management and analytical problem‑solving skills, and the ability to motivate teams under pressure. Beneficial experience includes procurement and NEC contract management, overseeing contractors and consultants, consultancy or client‑side project management, and familiarity with public sector or non‑departmental bodies involved in infrastructure. Required qualifications are NEC3 or NEC4 accreditation, a degree or HND in a management, construction or infrastructure discipline, and professional affiliation with bodies such as APM or ICE; project management certifications such as PRINCE2 or MSP are advantageous. • Utilise procurement expertise and NEC contract management to optimise project outcomes. • Demonstrate familiarity with public‑sector infrastructure bodies. • Hold NEC3 or NEC4 accreditation, a relevant degree or HND, and professional affiliation with APM, ICE or similar; PRINCE2/MSP certification is a plus.
