About the Role

The Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of a Finance Accounting & Reporting team of over 20 employees, ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. A central focus is to keep team members fully engaged, supported and developed through capability building, performance reviews and process improvement initiatives. Operating in a matrix environment, the Manager acts as the primary escalation point for operational issues, collaborates with operations managers to meet customer needs and works closely with the Head of Finance Operations India and the Process Owner for Record‑to‑Report to drive enhancements. The role also ensures compliance with internal controls, stakeholder management and delivery of period‑end and fixed‑asset services using lean principles. • Drive team and process performance using data‑driven insights and align FA&R processes with global GBS standards. • Manage effective service interactions with suppliers, users and stakeholders, handling incidents, issues and escalations per GBS processes. • Execute and monitor internal controls in line with the Group Internal Control framework and share insights with Process Owners. • Deliver agreed SLAs, KPIs and user satisfaction while overseeing Period End and Fixed Asset services using lean principles. • Foster a service‑focused culture where team members take responsibility, act empathetically and simplify services.

What You Bring

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and a professional qualification such as CA, CPA or ACCA. They bring at least 12 years of experience in a GBS or BPO setting, deep end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report knowledge, SAP expertise, and strong skills in resource planning, stakeholder management and people development. • Hold a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting and a professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent. • Possess 12+ years of GBS/BPO experience with end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report expertise and SAP proficiency. • Demonstrate experience in resource planning, scheduling, workflow management and managing an FA&R team against KPIs/SLAs. • Exhibit strong stakeholder management, coaching, development and motivation skills. • Maintain knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and proficiency with MS Office.
