Inventory Analyst

About the Role

You will analyze inventory trends, turns, lead times, and risks, developing strategies that balance service levels with cost efficiency. The role includes creating demand forecasts, partnering with procurement, production, and logistics to optimize inventory flow, and investigating discrepancies to drive corrective actions. You will deliver clear inventory reporting, support physical and cycle‑count programs, and maintain ERP and inventory management tools. • Analyze inventory trends, lead times, and risks to develop cost‑effective service strategies. • Create data‑driven demand forecasts and partner with procurement, production, and logistics to optimize inventory flow. • Investigate discrepancies, drive corrective actions, and support physical and cycle‑count accuracy programs. • Maintain and improve ERP and inventory management tools, primarily SAP.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in inventory control or supply‑chain analysis and strong analytical abilities to turn data into action. Proficiency in Excel—including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas—and experience with ERP systems such as SAP are required. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills are essential, and knowledge of forecasting or optimization models is preferred. • Require 2+ years of inventory control or supply‑chain analysis experience and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas). • Strong analytical, communication, organization, and multitasking abilities; knowledge of forecasting/optimization models preferred.
