About the Role

The Project Director position is responsible for managing and coordinating projects of all sizes and complexities through all phases of design, permitting, and construction. Project Directors also provide leadership for site Project Managers by managing, coordinating, and developing ATI staff. We are looking for Asbestos license holders if possible, but definitely an Enviro/Asbestos background. Project Directors assume complete responsibility for project financials, including establishing payment terms and collecting outstanding payments. They operate with significant independence and minimal supervision as the principal project representative, while Senior and Executive Project Directors also manage and mentor assigned Project Estimators. • Review projects to ensure scope is clearly documented and understood by the customer. • Establish a budget for each project that ensures completion at budgeted gross margins. • Assume overall responsibility for project financials, including pricing, costs, margins and budget creation. • Establish payment terms, including progress billings and deductible payments per company standards. • Direct/instruct Project Managers on established payment terms and collection of outstanding amounts. • Assume responsibility for collecting all project outstanding accounts receivable, directly or via legal and collections partnerships. • Review job financial performance and provide improvement insights. • Conduct joint job walks. • Administer 360-degree job reviews. • Ensure compliance with TPA requirements and maintain strong POM scores. • Conduct annual performance reviews. • Identify and assign training/developmental opportunities. • Establish a completion schedule that is achievable and agreed with the customer. • Acquire, direct, and manage subcontractors; prepare and negotiate subcontractor agreements. • Review and inspect work performed to ensure quality. • Communicate throughout the project with the customer, assigned Project Manager, and A/R team via email. • Work with the customer to complete change orders. • Prepare and complete punch list items at project end, if applicable. • Resolve conflicts, warranty issues, and other complaints. • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and all company safety policies. • Participate in company-sponsored marketing functions and events. • Uphold all company policies, procedures, and safety policies. • Oversee projects up to $250,000 in value (Project Directors). • Manage projects of any size with no limits (Senior and Executive Project Directors), responsible for generating own business. • Xactimate Level 1 for Project Directors. • Xactimate Level 2 for Senior Project Directors. • Xactimate Level 3 for Executive Project Directors.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum 5 years restoration experience. • At least 3 years as an Estimator or Project Manager in disaster restoration, with water mitigation, fire restoration, and mold remediation knowledge. • Minimum 2 years as a Project Director with "Excellent" performance ratings in the two most recent reviews (required for Senior Project Director promotion). • Minimum 3 years as a Senior Project Director with "Excellent" performance ratings in the two most recent reviews (required for Executive Project Director promotion). • IICRC certification (all levels). • Hold an Asbestos license or have an Enviro/Asbestos background. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. • Knowledge of water, fire, and mold trade practices and procedures. • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate oral and written instructions. • Ability to train and supervise employees (Senior and Executive PDs). • Sound judgment and decision-making. • Strong management skills (Senior and Executive PDs). • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. • Ability to multitask effectively. • Perform well under pressure. • Prioritize and plan work efficiently. • Reliable and punctual. • Strong experience identifying, negotiating with, and managing subcontractors. • Compassionate handling of emotional customer situations with prompt response. • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
